Royal College '59 Group
An online home for the boys who joined Royal College in 1959 from RPS and many other schools from across the island. The Colombo Academy was born in 1835 and has evolved into Royal College Colombo, located on the Rajakiya Mawatha/Reid Avenue/Thurstan Road corner in Colombo 00700. The institution has seen many a significant personality walk, learn, and leave with immense pride, skills, and confidence, into the real world. The open-minded multicultural environment that has prevailed, through almost 200 years, has fostered the free exchange of ideas, the celebration of diverse ideas, and the coming together of students from all walks of life. Possessing a rich history of tradition and values, the College has always maintained the highest levels of discipline, skills, and achievements of excellence throughout its history.
